Thank you for expressing interest in the Brookhaven Town Young Democratic Committee! As an offshoot of the main Brookhaven TownDemocratic Committee, the mission of the Brookhaven Town Young Democratic Committee (BTYDC) is to engage young democrats in the local political process, hostsocial events for members to network, and provide a space for young voices to be heard in the democratic party. We aim to uplift the future generation of leaders and work collaboratively as a committee to make Brookhaven Town a more equitable place for all residents through way of local advocacy and community service. It is the priority of the BTYDC to provide a safe and understanding space for young democrats to feel heard, supported and empowered.
We hope that you’ll join us and bring your passions to help make Brookhaven a better place to live for everyone. The BTYDC will hold monthly meetings for members aged 18-30. Meeting topics and activities will vary, but could include guest speakers, advocacy activities, event planning, community service endeavors, presentations and maybe even snacks!
